I was the editor in chief of the pan-European snowboard mag Onboard for 12 years, and throughout my tenure Pleasure magazine was the benchmark for quality and credibility in the snowsports media.  

It is therefore an absolute pleasure to write for them in the 2021/22 season. Although writing about snowboarding, which for many is a way of life, is like drawing fresh tracks on an exposed face; you have to be sensitive to the environment you are working in yet confident of your own abilities and knowledge. 

The work demanded in-depth research, fact checking and interviews with the ‘royalty’ of snowboard to harvest firsthand tales and quotes to enrich the readers experience. 

But as they say, the proof is in the pudding, and once submitted the articles were loved by both the editorial staff and their devoted readership.
